膜生物反应器（Membrane
Bio-Reactor ，简称MBR),,是一种将膜分离技术与传统污水生物处理工艺有机结合的新型高效污水处理工艺。他通过膜组件的高效分离作用，大大提高了泥水分离效率，并且由于曝气池中活性污泥浓度的增大和污泥中特效菌的出现。提高了生化反应速率，该工艺能大大减少剩余污泥的产量（甚至为零），从而基本解决了传统生物处理法存在的剩余污泥产量大、占地面积大、运行效率低等问题。

Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) is a new and highly efficient sewage treatment process which combines membrane separation technology with traditional sewage biological treatment process. Through the efficient separation of membrane modules, the sludge separation efficiency is greatly improved, and due to the increase of activated sludge concentration in the aeration tank and the emergence of effective bacteria in the sludge. The rate of biochemical reaction is increased. This process can greatly reduce the output of surplus sludge (or even zero), which basically solves the problem of large excess sludge production, large occupied area and low operation efficiency existing in traditional biological treatment.
