无机防晒成分通常是氧化锌、氧化钛等无机物,它们可以反射和散射紫外线辐射;有机防晒成分通常是OMC(octyl methoxycinnamate )、羟苯并唑(oxybenzone),它们可以吸收紫外线辐射,把辐射能量转化成热能。许多防晒霜同时保护皮肤不受到两种紫外线(UVA,UVB)的伤害。UVA和UVB对皮肤会造成不同的伤害。除了美容问题外,紫外线还会造成更多的问题,最严重的就是皮肤癌。从另外一个角度说:通过对光的反射和吸收两种机制起作用。一般无机物是反射作用,有机物是吸收作用。最常见的紫外线化学吸收物质是PABA(对氨基苯甲酸,para-aminobenzoic acid),PABA吸收UVB。如果您的皮肤敏感,应该谨慎使用含有PABA的防晒剂,因为PABA容易导致敏感肌肤发红和过敏。其它的吸收紫外线的有机物还有:肉桂酸(Cinnamates),吸收UVB;苯甲酮类(Benzophenones),吸收UVA;邻氨基苯甲酸或脂(Anthranilates),同时吸收UVA和UVB。
Inorganic sunscreen is usually Zinc Oxide, titanium dioxide and other inorganic compounds, they can reflect and scatter ultraviolet radiation; organic sunscreen is usually OMC (octyl methoxycinnamate), hydroxyl benzoazole (Oxybenzone), they can absorb ultraviolet radiation, the radiation energy is converted into heat energy. Many sunscreens protect the skin from two kinds of UVA (UVB). UVA and UVB can cause different damage to the skin. In addition to cosmetic problems, ultraviolet radiation can cause more problems, and the most serious is skin cancer. From another point of view, two mechanisms are played by reflection and absorption of light. In general, the inorganic substance is reflected, and the organic matter is the absorption. The most common UV chemical absorption material is PABA (p-aminoanilic acid, para-aminobenzoic acid), and PABA absorbs UVB. If your skin is sensitive, use the sunscreen with PABA carefully, because PABA is easy to cause red and allergic skin to sensitive skin. Other organic compounds that absorb ultraviolet rays include: cinnamic acid (Cinnamates), UVB, benzophenone (Benzophenones), UVA, ortho aminophenoic acid or lipid (Anthranilates), and UVA and UVB.
