Based on decades of experience and the reliable performance of the oily water separators, RWO has developed and optimized Consumable Kits according to operational requirements. With these kits, the operator now not only has the certainty to obtain the original RWO consumable parts, but he gets them bundled in a set to be safe and to minimize risks during the whole lifetime of the system.

Bremen, March 6th 2017 – An important milestone has been passed for RWO, which is Veolia’s global technology brand in maritime water treatment: 40 years after the foundation of the company, two oily water separators with the numbers 14,999 and 15,000 have been sold. Both OWS-COM systems with a capacity of 2.5 m3/h each go to a shipyard in Central Europe to be integrated into two ferries as part of a general overhaul. The OWS-COM oily water separator uses a combination of a highly effective open permeable original coalescer together with a second stage hydrocarbon polisher. This transaction underlines the very strong market position of RWO in bilge water treatment.

At the fair, RWO presented the CleanSewage Bio water treatment system, Seawater Reverse Osmosis SRO-COM as well as a further development of the Oily Water separator OWS-COM. “Visitors to our stand were particularly interested in treating wastewater with the CleanSewage Bio, which saves up to 25 % of space compared to other systems, is easy to operate, requires substantially lower maintenance and enables a faster restart”, said Ausfelder. The Seawater Reverse Osmosis SRO-COM, a desalination system aboard ships, stood out in particular due to its lower capital expenditures, energy costs and a smaller version with a capacity of up to 60 m3/day. An improved version of the world’s leading product of its category, the RWO Oily Water Separator OWS-COM was also presented to those gathered at the stand: New filter cartridges with twice the service life lower operating costs and increase operational reliability.
