Kester 952S助焊剂是一款专门为电路板组装波峰焊而研发的无卤素，不含松香的有机酸型助焊剂。非常低的固态物含量（2%）及活性剂系统特性使得焊后几乎没有助焊剂残留，电路板在波峰焊后，表面干燥且外观干净，没有残留影响电子测试，节省了清洗的费用。
Kester952S展现了改良的焊接性能，最小化减少桥接（短路）和过分焊接的缺陷。此助焊剂不导电，无腐蚀性，符合Bellcore TR-TSY-000078规范最严格的要求。952S适合应用于汽车电子，计算机，电信产品等可靠度要求高的产品。焊后板子上的表面绝缘阻抗高于一般的有机酸型水溶性助焊剂。
按照J-STD-004标准， Kester952S被定义为L型助焊剂。通过了对于高可靠性产品的表面绝缘阻抗的要求。
Kester 952-S is a halide-free, non-rosin organic flux designed forwave soldering of conventional and surface mount circuit boardassemblies. The extremely low solids content (2.0%) and nature ofthe activator system results in practically no residue left on theassembly after soldering. Boards are dry and cosmetically clean asthey exit the wave solder machine. There are no residues tointerfere with electrical testing, and the expense of cleaning iseliminated. Kester 952-S exhibits improved soldering performance tominimize solder bridges (shorts) during rework operations. Thisnon-corrosive and non-conductive flux meets the strictestrequirements of Bellcore GR-78 specifications. This flux issuitable for solar, automotive, computer, telecommunications andother applications where reliability considerations are critical.The surface insulation resistance on soldered boards is higher thanthat provided by typical organic water-solublefluxes.
