Kester 920-CXF is a low solids no-clean organic fluxdesignedforwave soldering conventional and surface mountcircuitboardassemblies. This flux eliminates defects oftenexperiencedinsurface mount assembly wave soldering operationswithtraditionalfluxes. This non-corrosive and nonconductive fluxhas anextremelylow solids content. There is essentially no residuelefton theassembly after soldering. There are no residues tointerferewithelectrical testing and the expense of cleaning iseliminated.PCBassemblies are dry as they exit the wave soldermachine.Thesurface insulation resistance is higher than thatprovidedbytypical organic water-soluble fluxes. Electricalreliability oftheassembly is assured. This flux formulation issuitableforsoldering bare copper and solder plated circuit boards.Itisadvised that bare copper boards be free of excessiveoxidesandother contamination for optimumsolderingperformance.
