Kester 985M助焊剂是一款专门为电子组装工艺中改良传统电路板组装波峰焊效率而研发的低固态物免洗助焊剂。在无铅波峰焊制程中，Kester 985M展现了优良的可焊性和通孔填充能力。焊接后残留量极少，并且经过波峰焊设备后，非粘性残留使得电路板表面很清洁。焊后极少的残留是无腐蚀性和非导电性，因此电路板上的助焊剂残留没有降低组装的可靠性。按照J-STD-004A标准， Kester 985M被定义为ROL0型助焊剂。

· 使连接器和CPU 处的微观锡球以及桥接减少到最少，在波峰焊过程中，提供清洁的板子与焊料的分离。

· 适合用于有铅与无铅合金（锡铜级锡银铜）

· 免除了清洗费用

Kester 985M 残留是不导电的，无腐蚀性，在大多数应用的情况下无需清洗。

Kester985M flux is a low solids, no-clean flux that is specially designedfor use in the electronic industry to improve effectiveness in thewave soldering of conventional circuit board assemblies. Kester985M has been developed for excellent solderability andthrough-hole fill in lead free wave soldering process. The residueleft behind is minimum and non-tacky so that boards arecosmetically clean as they exit the wave solder machine. Theminimal amount of residue remaining after soldering isnon-conductive and non-corrosive. Hence it is possible for theresidue to be left on the boards without degrading the reliabilityof the assembly.
